Camera or mobile phone for everyday photography?

I used to be the guy who had to pack and lug around heavy cameras for the perfect shot. I refused to adopt the idea of taking pictures using a phone and had all the technical reasons why a phone could never be good. I can still remember saying, 'The sensor is small therefore...' Now, I've grown wiser (and maybe older and with that comes the physical burden on my body if I carry heavy equipment) and am open to learning and adopting new and better ways of enjoying photography.

I rarely reach out for my heavy cameras because I now believe our phones have become powerful, pocket-sized cameras that capture stunning photos anytime, anywhere. I better have a picture when I get home because I had my phone when that spontaneous moment appealed to me than to regret not having a camera. These smartphones are changing the game in photography. Say hello to the era of mobile photography!
